Brainspotting is a brain-body technique that goes beyond traditional talk therapy to access and process trauma stored deep in the nervous system. By identifying specific eye positions linked to emotional activation, brainspotting works directly with the subcortical brain where trauma, anxiety, complex trauma, and PTSD actually live.
Like EMDR, brainspotting uses eye positioning to process trauma but rather than following a structured protocol, it allows your brain to lead the healing at its own pace.
Now available in our Greenpoint office in NYC with the founder of Cognitive Reset Counseling, brainspotting offers a targeted somatic approach for clients who haven't found relief through conventional methods or who are ready to go deeper.
